______ Argovause grew up in reasonable comfort with foster parents Ocharo and Ifritska in the Sunbeam Ruins. His foster parents followed Solas and Scamall, the "demigods" of Sun and Sky, and eventually followed the demigods out of the Ruins into the desert after internal conflict within the clan. The five dragons settled into clan Boneworm, and as Argovause aged with his relations in the upper class, he came to see Sun and Sky as frauds and secretly protest them. ______ Argovause enjoyed his life in Boneworm and eventually married Vellam, the daughter of his foster parents, and they doted on their many children. Argovause was especially proud of his son, Gelherte, a strong-willed ambassador who married Nimmi, the only daughter of Sun and Sky. The marriage somewhat eased relations between Argovause and the power couple, and it helped the clan's overall stability. ______ However, a mysterious plague soon struck, taking away young and old as well as both the foster parents and the son - but not the Sun and Sky. Devastated, Argovause retreated to rebuild, and eventually adopted Devister, a talented artist and diplomat whom Argovause trusts would have a bright future. Argovause now regularly converses with King Slickfoot, enjoying the King's chilling tales of the past, and harbors a desire to eventually rule the clan. Although Slickfoot has suggested that Argovause's disconnection from the lower class and origin from another clan are serious disadvantages, Argovause believes that Slickfoot would eventually see his full potential.
