"These dragons are born under the cover of darkness as the stars twinkle above to signal their arrival. Nyx dragons are very in-tune to the darkness and much prefer the night over the day causing them to be nocturnal creatures that can rarely be seen during the day. Because of all this, Nyx dragons have a strong connection to the darkness and the night, most are masters of shadow magic, able to manipulate their own shadows to do their bidding. Due to their dark coloring this species blends in perfectly well in their homeland, the Forum of Obscured Crescent. However, as big of a blessing these colors may be for blending into the dark forests in Shadow’s land, it causes many dragons to avoid them, aware of their species dark history of necromancy and fearful of what these dragons are capable of. Regardless, Nyx dragons are very quiet and mysterious just like the darkness they were raised in, they hardly hurt other dragons unless heavily provoked in some manner. Nyx dragons are very territorial, protective of their own land as well as their fellow clan members, willing to lay their lives down to protect what they have gained in the safety of their clans. Nyx dragons are best suited for roles such as mages, thieves, assassins and diplomats."
