Abyssal felt out of place in his birth flight. His body has dark and cool colors; if it isn't for his golden eyes, one would assume he is of the water or the shadow flight. Though he was well loved and cared for by his parents (both of whom where foreigners to the light flight), he had to deal with his share of bullying and discrimination growing up among the light folk. The local pearlcatchers where not subtle in their disapproval.

He is however a light dragon through and through, possessinga a sharp intellect, wit, curiosity and a talent for light magic. He strove to prove the naysayers wrong by proving he was a light dragon, dedicating much of his blood, sweat and tears into his scholarly and magical pursuits. He crushes all forms of doubt aimed towards him with armor-shattering arguments only a light dragon could make. He eventually becomes one of the most respected light scholars and mages.
