March 25th, 2018. I arrive at the Cove. I recognize no-one, and I feel an outsider. I linger towards the outside of the great rocks that guard the sea. I am afraid.

April 1st, 2018. With the weathering of the salt air, I become separated from the gembond that has covered my scales since birth. My flight feels lighter than ever before. I have never known such freedom.

April 5th, 2018. The briny water of the cove seems to be having a strange effect on my scales. Ripples and patterns of colours I have never seen before now cross my hide. I may have underestimated the strange magic in this place.

June 16th, 2018. I am told that a great celebration is to commence in only a few sleeps. I have joined the others at the cove for the very first time. To my great surprise, I was immediately welcomed into the Hearth, at the very heart of the cove. My heart is full.
