A little thing I wrote early February, 2018 -

So on February 15th last year my life changed dramatically.
I got up and immediately got on my computer because it was the first day of welcome week and I had been waiting soooo long to make a flight rising account. I hadn't slept well, and I didn't eat breakfast, and it was a particularly bad day for my ADHD.

I took just a little to long to choose my progen's colors, and I was just a little late as I was leaving the house for school. I got in my car, and I drove into town, and I got in a horrible terrifying wreck. I remember finding myself in my car on the side of the road, facing the wrong way with a deflated airbag on my steering wheel. The windshield was a spider web and the hood was standing in the air and bits of my car were sprinkled across the road.
I was so lucky. I'm alive and walking around, and so is the other driver!

Of course, all the negative things that come with a car crash happened. A lawsuit, crazy insurance, and post traumatic stress. I don't regret it though. I had to leave my classes and get a job, and oh boy, the job I got! I took a week long training to be a zip line tour guide! I leapt from towers hundreds of feet in the air and zipped the longest, highest, and fastest zip lines in Florida! I belayed people and myself off of a cable in the middle of a canyon, and I climbed hand over hand like a spy up from the middle of a line. I lead horseback trails and took some awesome photographs, and I scrubbed the toilets and took out the nasty garbage bags (which was normally splitting open and dripping on me). I meet amazing people and I did amazing things, and I am now a much more mature, much stronger, and much braver person.

This year has been an incredible journey, and omg my fellow flightriseans, I need to find myself and absolutely incredible dragon, the dragon of 2017/2018! Something brave! Something bold! Something that looks ready to take on the world! 2018/2019, come at me bro!
