    Once a warrior for a clan of nomads, Paladin has now taken on the role of herbalist, gatherer, and translator. The clan depends on him to communicate with other clans from the other regions of Sorneith, especially when they seem hostile. He has a calming aura about him, and when anger is the most prominent emotion in any interaction, he's able to calm down one or both parties into a state of understanding instead. He easily befriends most smaller animals, especially reptiles and amphibians. He loves frogs, and he would defend his friends and familiars with his life.

    His old life as a fighter has caused him to have immense anxiety in his day to day, so he uses gathering as a sort of repetitive calming action to help himself relax. Even though he has retired from fighting, every once and a while he is asked by his clanmates to help them defend themselves from harm, whether it be the shade or an angry clan. His frog friends hang out with him, even staying in his herb bag when he's called to action to defend his clan. Normally, he tries to talk the adversaries out of fighting instead, but that doesn't always work.
