Chase was among the first dragons to join the Snowsquall Clan, and the first of Araclor's early recruits to remain: he was not, and still isn't, wholly convinced by her visions, but considers the clan a worthwhile adventure all the same. He is one of the Wintergale's greatest warriors; he, Kalminor, and Borealis comprise the clan's primary combat team. Chase refers to them as the Alpha Battlegroup, much to the (usually) fond exasperation of his teammates. He functions mostly as a scout, seeking out opponents to challenge and keeping them occupied until his allies arrive. This role tends to get him hurt much more than his companions, but he couldn't be happier about it.
