Axolotl is a very shy and reserved dragon, and doesn't talk to many people. Perhaps this is because he's not as fluent in the common dragon language as he is in Coatl, or maybe it's just because... he doesn't know how to talk to people? That doesn't bother him, though. He'd rather just stay in his cave all day and sleep.
Newt's really the only dragon he'll talk to, mostly because they share the same interests. Or maybe it's just because she's pretty.
He's actually great with hatchlings somehow, but not many dragons know this. If he did, he'd have people knocking on his door every day asking for a babysitter. He doesn't want this. He only wishes to raise his own hatchlings.
