Biography
Mate: Gunnar
Build: Golem Workshop Trainer
Magna comes from an unusual clan of scholarly Mirrors living in the Starfall Isles. They live a lifestyle that is unlike that of the majority of their brethren, as they do not hunt and gather like roving marauders. Instead, by keeping their numbers small, they have been able to live in abundance and spend time on other pursuits.
She was sent on a mission to The Hewn City to investigate magical artifacts that were reportedly behaving mysteriously. It was across the land, but it was not uncommon for adolescents of her clan to be sent on distant pursuits, as it gave them a chance to see Sornieth beyond the protection and obscurity of their small tribe.
Upon her arrival, the anomalous artifacts showed no signs of corroborating the fantastical behavior that was being read by her clan's magical scholars. She gathered a few choice pieces to be studied by her clan. It was not until she had passed the boundaries of the ruins that an old and tattered scroll activated, shimmering in the unbroken sunlight of the Mirrorlight Promenade. It turned her instantaneously into a Wildclaw.
Her new habitus, though odd, was easy to adapt to, and offered her advantages she had previously not considered - being able to use one's arms and hands freely and still move is an invaluable tool for a scholar. She returned home undaunted, facing only brief suspicion from her clan upon her arrival. However, it was decided that it would not be in the clan's best interests for her to stay as she was. A small and tight-knit group of Mirrors will mostly be left alone, but to see a Wildclaw traveling freely among them may arouse suspicion, and worse, curiosity.
Magna, feeling a sort of spiritual connection to the domain of the Lightweaver, returned to the Sunbeam Ruins to settle her own clan. She fit easily into the role of a matriarch, and has been able to retain the studious spirit of her home tribe and lead her kin with confidence.
