After appearing and not knowing where she came from, she was brought up by devout Icewarden servants and was chosen through a selective hatchling scan to be taken under the wings of Icewarden himself. At the time she appeared and soon taken for training, the world was still very new and the eleven gods had only recently become prominent. Aries was determined to have the ability to perform the duties of a commander for Icewarden and was trained to complete tasks assigned to her, which typically entailed creating and distributing the ice and snow that would be seen around Sornieth. Once Aries had properly grown up, she soon began to realize that everything that happened behind the scenes of the gods was a lie. The gods themselves didn't hold any true power, but their servants did; everything was done for these 'deities', and Aries found an intense rage boiling inside of her. In her work, she climbed up the ranks quickly; her magic ability was intense and impactful, allowing her to take care of the jobs she was assigned very quickly; hastily earning the favor of Icewarden, Aries was soon a demigod to the Ice flight- the highest rank she could be possibly given. She tried very hard to keep herself from exploding with anger each time Aries found herself doing one task that Sornieth believed the Icewarden always did himself. Despite this intense anger she held within her, Aries did the best she could to live a normal life. However, life never ended up going the way she planned. It was almost as if the whole world was against her, she came to believe. Aries settled down with a mate, content with her position and had a batch of four children. Soon after they hatched, on a journey to an alternate location, she lost her children to an intense blizzard. For months, she was unable to perform her duties at work; she would grow enraged at the sight of snow or anything cold. A few years later, she tried once more with a lower-ranked servant whom she had fallen for only to find that one night, her 'lover' swept away her children at night and went to get exalted for the father's gain. Ever since then, Aries has kept to herself and lashed out at anyone who tries to get close to her. She embraces the anger she feels toward the Icewarden and blames him for the loss of her children. She grew colder and angrier until she was unapproachable, even to her adoptive parents. However, in the eyes of the Icewarden and her fellow demigods, her personal state didn't matter as long as she could continue getting the ice and snow out when it was needed. The reactions she got from her coworkers and higher-ups only angered her further; she began to feel as if Icewarden was stealing the credit that she herself deserved. ____Soon after discovering her new feelings, Aries began quietly and secretly amassing followers during her work trips around Sornieth. She would briefly appear in the forest, almost as if she was an illusion in the moonlight. The dragons that spotted her immediately noticed her aura of power and soon began to believe that she was the twelfth god; a being of the winter who would allow for new life to grow in Sorneith after purging the old. Despite not having any true way to worship, the followers she gained were incredibly loyal to Aries. _Internal Struggles_ ____Sometimes, Aries struggles with accepting the fact that she has wintry powers of ice and snow; these powers she has are directly tied to the powerful element that stole her beloved children away many years ago. She holds a fear deep within her heart that some of the storms she has caused in the past had caused another mother like her to go through the same experience she did, but pushes through for the sake of her followers. ____For as long as Aries could remember, she had known nothing but pain and struggling. No matter how she tried to push this away, Aries has never found a true escape. The closest she had gotten to relief was having her children, soon to have her joy ripped from her multiple times. After facing such loss, Aries decided to turn to another form of help: cats. She finds solace in their warm fur and comfort in their presence, helping her to remain stable in the turbulent life she lives. After long, stressful and tiring days of work laying out snow and quietly hating Icewarden, she returns to her den and cozies up with her beloved pets. Bio template by Mibella, find it here.

first id like to do = losing kids in blizzard

cold, cruel deity. similar in her reign to a tyrant. lost her children, making her into the cold-hearted skydancer she is. her first hatchings were lost during an intense snowstorm during their travels, and a gust of wind swept away the small hatchlings into the blizzard. after days of searching, aries lost all motivation, gave up, and stayed laying under a tree for weeks until she was essentially starved and incredibly sickly due to a form of hypothermia.

her second batch of hatchlings were stolen from her by her old mate, who grabbed them in the night and went to serve icewarden, a rival of aries'.

aries views icewarden as a fake god meant to ease his follower's fears. she does all the real work when it comes to maintaining the ice and snow, icewarden takes her credit and revels in it while aries goes on unrecognized.

not many apart from her fellow deities know of her. but those who do are extremely loyal and will stop at nothing to please her. even though her followers have had no real contact with her apart from occasional glimpses in the forest, their belief is very strong.

aries is illusive and solitary. she is an angry spirit who lets her emotions fester until they burst out, usually visualized in the form of an intense blizzard to express her rage. when thinking of her lost children, these blizzards last for days on end and typically bring about harm to those who are forced to experience the storms.
