Biography
Hmm? Oh a guest! BurningDust brought you in here, yes? Well, feel free to wander around, but I should warn you, some of the clan are a bit...different.
OpalWing was originally just trying to start a small nest with her first mate Keveran, but they quickly started to argue. Keveran was harsher on their hatchlings and had a strong dislike for the adopted NightPelt. He also heaped blame upon DarkClaw and often tried to drive a wedge between Opal and her friend. Eventually, all of these arguments and came to a head and Keveran attacked OpalWing in her sleep, leading to the deep scarring on her face and across some other parts of her body. She managed to drive him off and was found and healed by TigerFlank.
After this incident, she largely kept her face covered and changed her name to what it is today as a way to split herself from her past. Not long after this, other individuals started to be drawn to this small developing group. OpalWing maintained a belief in second chances even throughout this attack and betrayal and so a lot of dragons and beastclans alike come to her clan in an effort to move on from a difficult or contentious past, often using her style of renaming as a way to recreate themselves freely among their new clanmates.
Having so many varied and complicated individuals leads to many arguments and fights among the clan, but behind OpalWing, they are able to band together. Much of her time is devoted to managing the development and growth of the clan, mediating fights, and maintaining friendly relations with their neighbours.
