June 2014 Update: Awakening
Malachite founded the clan in the Earth territory. He was alone. Very stoic and serious, he slowly welcomed newcomers under his protection until he had amassed enough dragons to call a clan.
June 2015 Update: Migration
Malachite's clan felt they would find better purpose in the Plague territory.
December 2015 Update: Wheatley's Uprising
Malachite was slain in a challenge for his leadership role by Wheatley.
October 2017 Update: Riot of Rot
Garnet, who'd been secretly dabbling in the Shade art of necromancy with the assistance of Stargazer, reanimated Malachite's corpse. His body had been well preserved, only disturbed by local fungi.
The green guardian is still regaining motor skills, but he has a seething desire for revenge against his murderer; Wheatley.
March 2019 Update: A Clan Divided
Malachite's return had sparked a civil war within the growing clan. After a massive battle in which many were slain, he regained control over his territory. Wheatley and his followers retreated into the wasteland. Certain that he hadn't seen the last of the dictator, Malachite works to restore strength to his clan.
October 2019 Update: Riot of Rot
With Garnet's and Hephaestus's help, Malachite raised a trove of undead dragons to aid in protecting his clan from Wheatley; some of which were given cybernetic enhancements. The sizeable addition to his clan nearly doubled it's size.
November 2019: The End of an Era
Malachite's newly strengthened clan sustained an ambush from Wheatley's forces, but with their new Shade-given abilities and magic, they easily fought off the attack. After the dust cleared, Wheatley's body was found on the battlefield. This was a bit of a mystery, as nobody recalled ever battling the legendary dictator.
After the events of November, Malachite and his undead clan were no longer needed. The lifestyles (or lack thereof) of the unliving and living dragons in this clan were too different. The living were too uncomfortable with the post-mortem crowd, and the undead dragons couldn't relate to the toils of the living. Peacefully placing StarGazer in his place as leader of the living, the original leader and his clan of the unliving wandered into the Wasteland to begin anew, where no other clan of dragons could feel more at home.
Malachite's wandering clan of the dead have added multiple new members that have met their unfortunate end in the unforgiving wasteland. His stoic leadership has brought his new clan to new heights, and created a force not to be taken lightly. After all, it's not wise to pick a fight with dragons that have overcome death.
