Biography

T H E P A L E C H I L D
A creature of unknown origin. It bears much resemblance to a Pearlcatcher dragon but... is it? It is nearly identical to a pearlcatcher hatchling if one were to ignore the small horns above it's eyes and glowing red eyes. They do not seem to be able to speak... or, at least not Draconic anyway. Some members of the clan have reported hearing strange, broken noises in the dead of night only to find that it is just Radio, sleep 'talking.' Some are suspicious of them and claim Radio is reporting to some unknown god while they're asleep. This is, of course, just heresy, as the harmless little dragon (they are... a dragon...yes?) just hasn't figured out how to speak properly yet... right? |
B I O G R A P H Y
The current theory The Welcome Committee is running with is that Radio is from a very cold place. That would explain the odd creature's unusual attraction to warmth. This attraction to heat has only put them in mortal danger.... a few times so far... They're awfully clumsy and their body is much too big for their wings to carry so they've almost met death via tripping on their own limbs more times to count... and having semi- useless wings means nothing when it comes to escaping a tumble into a nice pit of boiling lava. Aside from a few mishaps and near-death experiences involving lava, she has assimilated into The Welcome Committee pretty well. Her small size makes in easy for her to crawl into small spaces the other dragons can't to find rare and tasty bugs for The Committee to eat. Her small size also allows for her to trail intruders, often hypnotizing them into leaving the cave. Of course, her size also aids her in mischief making. On a sleepless night, a Committee member may find themself wandering around the dimly lit paths of the forest. That is when Radio strikes. Her small size makes it easy for her to hide behind the smallest of rocks to jump out and scare the wandering dragon. [more examples here when I think of some lol] Sometimes, a member of The Committee catches them sneaking out to stare directly at the sun. No one has any explanation for why they do this, and any attempt to ask Radio themselves is answered with garbled static noises. |
