Biography
~Abyss~
Emperor of the Ocean.
The dead bodies of Imperials landing in the ocean floated down, down..and merged to create the undersea emperor, the ocean shaker,
With four heads, and a length/size of 75 meters, this Emperor grew gills and fins to survive in the ocean his previous bodies died in. All have forgotten their original names, (although all of the heads are male), so all they know, all they remember, is Abyss
He’s terrifying, but he’s honestly kind of just..a depressed guy. He honestly doesn’t do much. More dragons would feel bad for him if they weren’t scared. However, he doesn't really care what others think of him either.
Honestly acts like a bodyguard to Gemini cause he likes her.
(maybe each imperial fell prey to a siren? or sirens?)
All four heads turn to stare at the figure before them, before he sits down quite calmly and docilely, a deep, ancient pain and sadness in each four sets of his eyes as he looks the asker over. He seems to think, pausing to possibly allow the four heads to confer and process the question, before the middle right head clears his throat, and speaks in a deep, reasonating voice that seems to roll like the powerful waves of the ocean,
“You have nothing to fear, little one.”
“I am Abyss”
The head next to it finishes in sync, the voice never changing.
All four heads offer melancholy smiles varying in sizes, before the head all of the way to the left speaks up.
“You do not need to worry. Although I did have the bloodlust characteristic of my kind, many, MANY years spent under the ocean has cooled my yearning and dampened my rage.”
“Thankfully, it hasn’t dampened my mind.”
The one all of the way to the right adds. There is a pause, before deep laughter ripples between the heads, and all finish in synchronization,
“Well, minds that is, I guess.”
He pauses, seemingly considering the rest of the questions, then the middle right head responds,
“I do not have a..”main” head. So much of my time was spent trapped beneath the ocean’s waves, that all four of my minds eventually blended into a shared conscious. They didn’t really remember who they had been before death, and they grew to not care. There were arguments at first, but eventually..it drifted off, and I have become..Abyss. We are one.”
The head all of the way to the right nods, then continues slower,
“I was only able to survive because of all four of my previous body’s link to the water flight. Over time I developed these gills, fins, and this bulb. Only...a bit recently have I chosen to resurface, confident in my abilities of self control.”
All four heads let out a chuckle, then eventually all adopt a small smile.
“Does that answer your questions, curious one?”
The question was to Abyss from SiberianCat on an ask thread!

It can't be... Am I lucky or am I already dead?
Wha- Who are you?
An Emperor, of course (silly me).
Are you... alive one? Sentient? Which head is "main"? Can you even speak? Should I run away from you? What can you tell me?
I am crazy, that's for sure.

A sweet and gentle song carried along the ocean breeze. The large imperial rose to the surface, maw full of fish. He swam to a nearby rock and placed his catch there, jumping up and sitting next to his pile of food, he began wringing out the water in his mane. The songs and voices drifted even farther but now in a louder chorus. His ears perked up as he spun around trying to see the invisible singers. On the horizon the sun dipped below the waves and the moon had now risen. He squinted as the chorus grew even louder and closer, he saw the bodies of many great imps float to the surface, he rubbed his eyes. One of the imperials eyes opened. Startled he jumped to his feet and the chorus of song was screaming in his ear, something grabbed his foot and dragged him off the rock and into the great sea. Down and down he went and song still ringing in his ear, the farther down he went the more pressure he felt against his body, he couldn't breathe and water began to fill his lungs.
The song had been sung. Everything was quiet. The sea began to grow restless as the waves grew larger. The ocean churned. Three bodies found their way to this new dead soul and so a reaction began. The bodies began to glow and flicker, the sea bubbled. One by one they melded into one great beast. A great emperor with four heads. The ocean stopped churning and all was quiet once more. The sea was scared, or knew just what it had made.
