Shadowspark is interested in the pursuit of knowledge. Her home flight is held close to her heart, but she has set her mind to proving that the Ice flight is closely intertwined with wind. Every dragon she has come across thus far claims that they are very different from each other - but she will not be swayed. Though she is determined to prove her theory to the world, she does not like the thought of traveling. Tempting as it may be to travel across the planet to investigate dangerous ruins, it really isn’t in her interests. She shudders at the word “danger” and instead prefers to investigate her studies inside of her beloved libraries and papers. Sometimes though, Shadowspark needs to take a break from her studies. Astronomy is something she has only recently discovered that she enjoyed. It wasn’t until she saw the auroras in the Snowsquall Tundra whilst visiting for research purposes that she fell in love with the night sky. The twisting colors, vibrant against the darkness had her entranced and she found it difficult to look away. Afterwards, the stars became much brighter in her eyes and her second most desire is to own a telescope in order to study her hobby further. Astronomy also leaves her to the solitude of the outdoors as well. She isn’t much for other dragons - tending to shy away from contact more often than not. Dragons are very loud, usually. They also have so many problems. Why can’t they be simpler? Like the books and stars that she studies so intently. Those things never talk back to her, or cause any unforeseen issues. Not only would she prefer her books, she also prefers any small creatures she might be fostering. Shadowspark enjoys taking in injured animals and giving them all that they require in order for them to regain their strength and return to the wilds. Bats are a very common animal that she ends up taking in, as for some reason they tend to become injured fairly often. |
