Cloud

Apprentice of Hazel

Cloud is a handsome wildclaw apprentice. He is patient, helpful and friendly, (don’t worry, he doesn’t bite!)
He dreams of becoming a clan leader. Although he has many strengths, becoming the clan leader may take a while, and he needs to choose a wise decision. Becoming the clan leader will take many risks, bravery, responsibility, truthful, and can have a mate but not hatchlings.
Christina, (most recent Leader of this Lair,) had tons of mates and had hatchlings, which is only acceptable. Her ancestors are still in rage with her.
Crispy, (male guardian dragon,) (leader before Christina,) he needed to choose a new leader because he wished to become a elder. He thought of choosing either Christina or his mate Frozen. He chose Christina because he loved her, but at the end Christina declared that her mate is Bloom in the leader ceremony. (Her mate now is Diamond.)

—> When the hunting patrol came back a few hours ago, Cloud spotted his clanmate, Hazel, carrying a female wildclaw hatchling. She was from Light Clan. She was unnamed, but Hazel named her Sugar. She was found in the dark forest beside the gorge.

Sugar is absolutely gorgeous, especially her eyes, and soon Cloud had fallen in love with her. Cloud and Sugar played nursery games. He could tell that she was very shy, and she was newborn so she sleeps often.
Cloud learns more about Sugar. Yet, Sugar had not learn what love is, and it's truly identity, yet.

Even though your now a apprentice, it doesn’t mean we cannot be friends anymore... -Sugar to Cloud in the nursery

“Gather around for a clan meeting! Every dragon from small to big in Light Clan can attended!” Christina called.
Sugar and Cloud gave a glance at each other.
“Your apprentice ceremony!” Exclaimed Sugar, her brilliant yellow eyes shine in delight.
Cloud was happy and sad at the same time, because that means that he has to sleep in the apprentice den with all other apprentices.
Sugar saw a flash of sadness in Cloud’s blue eyes, “What’s wrong?” She asked.
“We might not be friends anymore because I might not see you often,” Cloud blurted, his wings were folded tight because we was nervous.
Sugar shone love in her eyes, “Don’t be silly,” she squeaked, “We will be best friends no matter what, we are very close. You deserve to be made as a apprentice.”

As Christina leaped on the pointy rock, her mate, Diamond was beside her.
Christina raised her neck to show her clanmates her bravery, “I, Christina, proud leader of this lair, shall announce a new apprentice in this clan, he has reach one week of his life. His name is Cloud. Cloud, please stand forward.”
Cloud dipped his head politely but eyeing Sugar. Sugar was proud, and she was with her foster mother, Pearl.
Cloud stood forward, looking nervous. What is Christina going to ask me? I’m not even prepared..

“I, Christina leader of this lair, will announce that Cloud, the hatchling will become a apprentice. Hazel, I know you have eggs that have not hatched yet, but your mate can take care of them. You are a skilled dragon, loyal and brave. Your new apprentice is Cloud.”
Cloud was happy. Hazel was a great other for her eggs. On the other hand, Hazel looked delightful.
“Cloud, would you promise to protect every dragon in this lair? Will you promise to train extra hard?” Christina eyed him.
The young apprentice nodded, “Gladly. I do.”
“The Lightweaver will be watching over you. Meeting is over everyone! Good luck on your adventure, Cloud!”

“Are we going to fight against monsters?” Asked Cloud eagerly.
“Not yet,” Hazel said eyeing him sternly, “You will learn the history of Light Clan and this lair.”
Cloud wasn’t excited anymore, but he knew if he thinks of Sugar daily it would make him feel loved and a-lot better!
Sugar padded up beside him, while her foster mother Pearl was chatting with BananaFern and BananaCake.
“You did great!” She exclaimed, “Congratulations!”
When Cloud was about to start a new conversation with Sugar, his mentor, Hazel eyed him suspiciously and interrupted.
Had Hazel found out that I’m in love? Wondered Cloud.
“Cloud, lets go. We have tons of things to do and accomplish. Sugar, go back to your foster parents.” Hazel interrupted rudely.

Sugar looked hurt, as she was smart enough to know that Hazel hated Cloud being with her, but had said nothing.
Hazel wasn’t the Hazel I knew when I was a newborn hatchling, thought Sugar.
Cloud went to nuzzle Sugar, and Sugar felt the love eventually, Cloud whispered quietly that only Sugar heard. Hazel rolled her eyes.
“I will always have you in my mind while training. Nothing will stop me to do that. Now you should go back to the nursery, and maybe sometime we can sneak out to meet each other when we’re both free!” Cloud whispered in her ear.
Sugar exchanged glances, “I hope we will still be friends..” she whispered back, “Bye Cloud.”
“Bye Sugar...”
Sugar turned around and walked away with her foster mother.
I will always love you, Cloud thought.
“I’m ready,” Cloud said to his mentor.
Hazel gave him a warm look, "Let the training begin!"

Moons later..
“Sugar! You are going to become a new apprentice!”
Sugar’s eyes sparkled,
