Heatherbed Lily WREN
She is stunning. It is difficult to look away.
When she notices you, your eyes lock.
She deigns to give you a smile, then steps out of your sight.

The skydancer learned to pose before she learned how to walk. She pranced before she learned how to run. When other dragons were learning simply to fly, she was in the air with her mother, learning to dance in the zephyrs. Her mother’s cajoling is constant, and she hears her voice even in the rare moments when she is left alone.

“Pull your neck up from your shoulders, but point your head straight. Put your feet closer together. Do not allow your tail to rest limply against the floor. It must always look as if it is swaying in the wind.”

“Your wings are magnificent, as mine are. Lift them. They are for the world to see, darling. You are showing them to the worms.”
