Galactia is an accomplish reader of body language and intonation. She is very good at reading people, even if they don't say much (or anything) she gets to the truth. Most of the time she uses her skills to entertain the clan. She often sets up a table in the corner of the Great Hall to entertain the Dusk court with astrology and tarot readings. She has been known to to disarm visitors so they slip up and talk too much, ferreting out the weaknesses of potential enemies. She is a 3rd generation Outlander who made it into the main clan due to her many talents.

Botanically, Galactia is a genus of plants known commonly as the 'wild peas'. Galaxias is the latin term that in modern scientific terms means "pertaining to (our) galaxy." In old latin galaxias meant "of or pertaining to milk" - i.e. the Milky Way.
