Nerine, for the better half of the last decade, had given up her position as the nanny after her utmost favorite hatchling Mawarine had grown old enough to find a new home, only to be immediately sent off to his death by those who promised to love him like he deserved. While dragons like Murky hold great contempt towards what happened, Nerine can't help but just wallow.
