Gania is one the orphans adopted by Gasira's clan. The Ice dragon is tough, independent, and cold. She tends to expect the worst of everyone, after having been abandoned when she was very young. Even when the clan adopted her, she experienced not much warmth, since most dragons found it hard to love the cold little ice queen.
Gania is still a bit of an outsider. For a long time the only one she tolerated was Flynn, but now she's also getting along well with the Clan's other Ice dragons.
Her relationship with Flynn is a strange one. When the Arcane Fae Xelona joined the clan and Flynn became interested in her, it looked at first as if their relationship would not survive at all. Jealously, Gania had an affair with Seclioth, a visiting Light Guardian from another clan, resulting in Azalar and two more hatchlings. In response to this, Flynn mated with Xelona. Everybody thought it was over then, and for a while things were quite cold between them. But recently the two of them have been seen together again. Does that mean they have forgiven each other?
When her son Azalar decided to join the gladekeeper, Gania became even more withdrawn. This has slowly been changing again thanks to her daughter Nia, who does her best to coax her mother out of her shell.
