A long WIP. Needs fixing.

Scooter was found by Cadeigha as an egg. He was of Nature Flight, however Cadeigha was the type of gal to adopt dragons no matter where they came from. The egg was cold and alone, not even a nest or two in sight. Digging was a very natural thing for her and the greenery of the

A lone, cold, buried Nature Flight egg was discovered by Cadeigha. When she found such an odd rarity, she picked it up. It felt almost lifeless and she was lucky to have Knero and his mate there to help her warm the egg up while she would look for a stray nest or two lying around. Phei had made a great effort of help but in the end there was no nestings in sight. The gal decided that it would be best to nurture the hatchling back to health and she was ready to take up that job. The first couple of days was harsh as there just didn't seem to be any progress on the egg's life and its progression. It seemed as if it had been laid and lost progress to mature for years considering how deep it was buried under the dark soil. Digging was a passion for Cadeigha and now she felt lucky to have met this egg.

Most of her dragons would pop in and help, mostly for their own curiosity over the egg. The owner studied the thing for so long that she would pass out on the desk sometimes just tiring herself out about it. The incubator seemed to really help give life to the small thing. A week later and after some pondering, she decided she was ultimately ready to hatch this egg. She held too much passion and already felt so much responsibility and didn't trust anyone else to take care of it. That night was one of those passed out nights until a loud screech coming from Rokun was heard. She got up immediately, rushing into the incubator room. The first thing she could see was a flash of orange latching onto Rokun's face. It was a Mirror hatchling, the orphan finding the older male to be his mother. It took Cadeigha some great effort to get the thing off of Rokun. Of course the orphan squirmed a lot in her arms, even scratching, nipping, but she never gave up. He was definitely wild. Untamed. It was something she would have to expect from an undomesticated dragon. She already had some experience from this thanks to both Tahabata and Agathor. They were bought buy her, however, and not completely raised by her.

Despite how this road to domestication began, the small orphan became such a sweetheart in the end. He was mostly like a cat and absolutely enjoyed adventure. Cadeigha would assign Iari to be at least slightly motherly to him since they were of the same Flight origin. She would teach him the ways of their Flight and even teach him how to fly. She would even teach him a couple of fighting techniques if given the time of day for him to provide with any attention span. He preferred being a lap dragon more than anything else. Eventually, of course, he would become a little too large for even that. Despite his fast growth spurt, he still remained much less heavy than others in his species. He did grow quite well in length, however, and his large wingspan made him a brilliant flier. His colors were an odd sight at first, however his personality just did wonders and made him more cute than ever. Cadeigha had a plan.

He simply wasn't anything like a regular Mirror. He made everyone laugh by doing his own things such as scooting his butt on the floor, which is what earned him of his name, and how he would somehow learn how to purr and then bark like a dog. He was pretty much the clown of the Clan. Not a single soul disliked him. Scooter deserved to be whatever he desired to be, so one day Cadeigha sat down with him and gave him a couple of options. This was her first dragon to decide on a species change for. Wildclaw was pretty much his first decision, mostly because he wanted to be just like Iari. It would have been that way for a couple of days, however the decision was changed as there simply just wasn't any treasure involved for it. The second best which would ultimately turn into the best was the coatl species change. Scooter was wholly dedicated to this plan. It was likely the most perfect thing to go for as he would be more lovable and friendly looking, just like he actually is.

A week went by and the amount of treasure for a coatl change was met. He was transformed immediately that day and luckily for everyone, no changes of his personality were made. Scooter still remained silly ol' Scooter. He definitely became a total lap dragon after that and Cadeigha would allow it just to be able to pet him and call him her own. She was able to tame a wild dragon on her own with the help of her Clan. She always made sure that everyone became friends, no matter what Flight they came from. It was simply a relatively unspoken rule for everyone. No one would be necessarily "owned" either. They stay because they are happy to be in her Clan, otherwise they can leave if that will make them happier.

A few weeks later, Scooter met a new hatchling of another Clan. They would meet up occasionally and, in the end, Cadeigha would buy her for a somewhat great amount of treasure for Scooter. They seemed like great friends and she wanted him to stay happy and to have more time to converse with her. Days would go by before Cadeigha would start to notice the signs. It seemed as if Scooter was starting to have a crush on her. A very cute one at that. He would sway, blush and smile so bright when she was around. They were both very young and that sort of love connection really became a classic for the Clan. Scooter would always be embarrassed and shy about it. The newly named Cupcake would simply know and find her ways to love him back. Their coupling would be the cutest ever seen within Cadeigha's Clan.
