The typical Mystic is longer and leaner than the average Fae - almost reminiscent of Spirals - and are built to dart along windy crystal peaks and ride the seaside currents that surround their island home. Their hardy little bodies are of a characteristically shimmering, iridescent mulberry hue interspersed with pink markings. These patterns are reminiscent of an organic sort of circuitry, and vary in thickness and hue, seeming to pulse and glow at times with arcane energy, much as how blood would pump through veins. A lesser number were noted to bear wispy, almost smoke-like markings, though those observed were often sickly and undersized. Generally indicative of health and age, the brighter and more vibrant the pattern, the more desirable the mate.
