______ Kyverok was once the primary mage of Klaeod's clan, but with the death of his mate, Nenith, his mind has failed him somewhat. While always a reclusive dragon, Kyverok has only gotten worse, almost never leaving his cave or ceasing his experiments. It's not uncommon for something to go horribly, horribly wrong, sometimes affecting other dragons of the clan, such as the incident that transformed Blame into a nocturne. Klaeod's patience with the addled dragon is wearing thin, but Shadesnap insists that he will recover from the loss of Nenith in time.

______ It was Kyverok who inadvertently brought Jormungandr to the clan as, in an attempt to summon Nenith's spirit to him, tugged on her father's instead, drawing him to Klaeod's clan and the source of the disruption.
