Coming from the Southern Icefield to the comfort of a castle was quite the experience for Winterberry. She'd always been interested in finding out more about the other flights, and when she left home she took up a small job selling wine in her travels in order to have a little money on hand. She got very good at her job however, getting to know all the types that she could get her claws on and would often sell them off with her very persuasive personality. When she found the Mondirewick Castle she boldly approached it, but while doing her best to sell what she had on hand she was offered a better job there, and a home on top of that. How could she refuse?
Winter's job to her is just a fancier version of her traveling days, she can sit behind a bar with a fancy outfit and talk about wines to spice up any official meeting. While she was still paid well and lived a comfortable life, she began to find her real payment was in the form of the loosened lips of her customers, with secrets to tell that would terrify most dragons. But Winter was mystified, and would at times spread word of these secrets to the high class in the court. Whether these secrets ever reached the Lords or not, she'd never know for sure; but she was happy to use her job for something useful. Useful, and very interesting for her and her mischievous nature. |
