He was born unable to speak. That does not stop him from being one of the most sociable and friendly dragons of the clan. If Korsed could talk, he probably would never stop and would chit chat with anyone who would be willing to listen.

Aliud, his friend and familair Death Seeker, acts as both a voice and extra eyes for Korsed.

Korsed prefers living and working in the shadows cast by the ever-glowing magma, out of curiosity of what is there, and because he finds other dragons reactions to the difference in his personalty to his appearance humorous.

Recently Korsed stumbled upon a golem guardian that had been buried long ago. After much thought at how to transport the golem, or rather statue as he thought at the time, the golem reanimated itself. The golem began to speak to Korsed via telepathy. Electrified with excitement at being able to use his voice to express himself rather than other means, Korsed dubbed the amnesiac golem Aventurine after the material he was carved from and continues to communicate near constantly with him. There are no others in the clan that make the mute dragon quite as happy as when he is with the long lost golem.
