Ivy, the Free Spirit

Although Ivy may appear rather mysterious- with the hood and cloak she wears, she has nothing to hide. She is a gentle pacifist who hates fighting, although she does know that it sometimes is necessary. As a result, she will only fight if backed into a corner with no way out. She instead opts to care for those that are hurt, as well as watch over the hatchlings and young dragons, her sprite friend Hawthorne acting as an assistant.

She is perhaps most skilled in nature magic amongst her clanmates- and uses this magic to heal those who are hurt. She also uses it to entertain the youngsters- from making stunning flowers grow, to manipulating vines like snakes. However, she also is a bit of a free spirit. Even if she calls Flowerfern her home, she will often travel to even the edges of the world, before returning to tell her friends stories of the things she's seen.

Hawthorne, despite appearing rather feminine- is male. He has a rather serious nature, not enjoying any sort of nonsense - despite being a rather inquisitive sprite at the same time. But for Ivy's and other hatchlings' sakes, he will lighten up for the young; understanding that not everyone will be as no-nonsense as he is. He is very knowledgeable regarding plants, and is able to identify almost every plant, if it is safe for consumption or use, and what someone could use it for if it is safe.

However, for a sprite of the Nature Flight, he has a surprisingly hard time of grasping magic, mostly being able to modify his own appearance to reflect different kinds of plants, from making his skin hard like the shell of a walnut, to becoming as thorny as a rose. As a result, he can't really do much beyond try to protect himself or flee/hide in the event of a fight, and thus if fighting is completely necessary, he leaves that to Ivy.
