Biography

Hallow
The Actor
tumblr_nj9kyb0AiI1r28672o7_1280.png
lightningv1.png He was an orphan before birth, an egg discarded by some unknown dragons and left to die in the wilderness. The kindly matron Mystern saved him from this fate, however, and took him as her own. She raised him with another such orphan, the wind guardian Myrena, alongside her mate Tamiya because she had no hatchlings of her own. From an early age, Hallow loved to cause a scene and entertained his clanmates with his impressions and silly songs that he'd make up on the spot. His improvisational skills and delivery make him one of the most impressive performers in Amarayne's ranks.

Hallow is an actor, playwright, singer and lyricist, putting on shows almost nightly in the small theater room built for lectures and performances. His shows are always packed, with a seat always reserved for his parents near the front, and with many out-of-clan visitors sneaking in on nights of "closed-admission" showings where only other Amarayne members are supposed to be in attendance. He is popular in his clan and out, often finding himself swarmed with admirers when his intimidating siblings aren't around. He loves the attention, entertaining large groups for hours on end, but even he needs a break. Thanks to his small size, he can usually slip away unnoticed when he needs to and his room is fairly well intruder-proofed.

The seats for his parents are empty these days, though he allows no one else to fill them. Even if they're no longer around, he feels them in spirit at every show. Fans claim the heartbreak has made his work even greater, and even some of his critics agree this is the case. He appreciates the compliments, but still wishes that his work could have gained that edge in a less tragic manner. He finds himself spending a lot of time with his siblings, crying or reminiscing or usually just talking in quiet voices about nothing in particular. He's tried to help his sister wherever he can when it comes to their little brother who was orphaned in the attack that stole their parents, though he admits that while he acts a good father on stage it's hard to be that for his own little brother, especially since the ridgeback has towered over him even fresh from the egg.
