Perhaps it was because she was born under the sign of the Plaguemother herself. Perhaps it was because the clan spent that Riot along the borders to the Archarnist's realm. Perhaps it was pure chance. Nevertheless, Saran was the first of her clan to be gifted with magic. Through experimentally carved symbols, she can summon spirits not of this world, and- sometimes- convince them to do her bidding. The key word here is sometimes, since her experiments seem to have an equal chance of wreaking havoc- but Saran has never been one to be deterred.
