Biography
~. The Felines of Warcraft .~
A Subspecies Project !
...The Offspring of Loque'nahak and Har'koa...
-.The Snow Specters.-
Hailed from the icy wastes of Northrend, a collection of islands well off the north coast of the mainland of Sornieth, these spirits are rumored to be that of great, fallen snow leopards, lost forever within the harsh winds and snowfall. Long forgotten and banished by the darker forces of the world, these spirits were trapped within various feline-depicting figurines that now litter their homeland. If a Sornien dragon were to come into contact with these carvings, they would awaken the beast inside and become one with the icy spirits of the north. It is told that normally only the Coatl dragons of Sornieth fall prey to these curses, but all species dare not to journey to these unknown and accursed lands.
-.Traits and Descriptions.-
Initial Origins - Snow specters descend from the great spirits Loque'nahak and Har'koa, reigning deity-like beings of pure magical energies. These spirits roam the scattered wastes of the distant land of ice and snow, and it is believed that they hold the very essence of the Stormcatcher and the Icewarden combined. Not many pure descendants remain, most current individuals being brought on by the cursed statuettes. However, even the accursed members hold direct connections to Loque'nahak and Har'koa. It is rumored that these deities take on Coatl-like forms to blend in among their newfound "followers".
Qualities - Since these cat-like creatures descend from incorporeal beings, they do not have permanent physical forms. Snow specters are able to phase in and out of reality or become completely invisible as they wish. Their eyes beam with the might of the Stormcatcher, while their bodies are furred with snowy pelts. Mistral, swirling designs curve throughout their forms in colors of light blues, marking them with the touch of the spiritual realm. Two long, razor-sharp fangs often protrude from their mouths, and it is common for them to reflect more feline-like appearances. It is also told that these beings breathe on waves of ice and cause the very clouds to explode with lightning.
Lifestyle - Snow specters dwell together within hidden caves and caverns buried deep within the snow. They live in large prides at the center of the land, however, it is not uncommon for individuals to live out solitary lives. The snow and ice only affect the young, since their full coats aren't grown yet, so these creatures are often known to travel through environments of endless cold. As far as hunting goes, snow specters are exceptional fighters due to their ability to warp in and out of existence, and they often don't require assistance with kills. They are far removed from their native tongue, the language of Coatls, and speak through silent, telepathic words between their comrades. They have loud, thundering roars and can run at extreme speeds, much like a strike of lightning. Snow specters are very wary of unknown creatures, and tend to stay behind and stalk trespassers for miles until prompted to engage.
