". . ." ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ "Did you see that?!" the voices called and color filled the Coatl's normally black sight. He could never witness the spectacles before him. In fact, Dumah was often facing the wrong direction or staring up blankly at the sky. . . Still, however, he could see whenever others spoke. Their voices were flickers of colorful light against the abyss of his blindness. He was always an unusual dragon. His egg was a globe of crystalline ice that shimmered like glass in the hot sands of the Earthshaker's desert. When a small clan of nomadic Earth dragons found the egg, they said it was a mirage that had taken physical form - a thing of mystery. The dragon that hatched was just as unusual - a blind and speechless Coatl who spent his childhood counting and collecting grains of sand. Then, they began disappearing. Each evening, as the sun set and cast long shadows across the dunes, another dragon from Dumah's clan would vanish until none remained and the young Coatl was left to wander. Lore Notes: - Dunewalker - Found in the desert - Mute and blind, but has synesthesia - Sometimes mutters numbers to himself, but never speaks words - Counting the grains of sand in the desert - Somehow has an immaculate sense of time - Communicates by making intricate sand mandalas - Found as an egg in the desert by a nomadic clan - Thought to be cursed because dragons kept disappearing
