B I O G R A P H Y
Reznin was born to be a scholar - or so his clan always told him. From an early age, he showed little to no interest in the quick fighting games of his fellow hatchlings, preferring to study the flora and fauna around their cave instead. Though, for a scholar, he proved to be larger than expected, his rather intimidating stature at odds with his soft-spoken manner. It was his size, in the end, that did him in, for as times got tougher in that clan he was enlisted to assist with hunts and gathering. Reznin, seldom seen without some moss around his horns or mice running down his coils, was forced to provide something other than academia to the clan. His tendencies towards distraction allowed a particuarly feisty beast to take a swipe at his face, leaving his left eye blind and his snout scarred. Feeling more than useless around the clan, it wasn't long before Reznin began itching to leave. The arrival of a wildclaw trader called Taz allowed him a gap to leave, seeking a new place to continue his studies. Now, he can be found in a bright corner of the ruins, examining and frantically archiving the hunts of his clanmates. His more arcane talents allow him to accompany groups to explore, but he now keeps a safe distance from the front lines. As a whole, his missing eye does little to impact his research - he finds it more a hassle than anything. His hearing is sharp, and woe to the hatchling that tries to sneak up on his blind side. No, he chooses to cover his face when in the common areas more out of embarrassment than necessity, as he finds his scars to be unattractive at best and frightening at worst. Though fond of visitors to his growing collections - he has been known to give tours that can last hours, and threaten to go longer if his Reznin is generally soft-spoken and calm, especially around younger dragons. He is hyperaware of both his size and scars, and takes care not to intimidate anyone. However, despite this quiet nature, he is capable of multitasking to an impressive degree, and is often seeing taking different notes in different journals using both hands. Apparently, being ambidextrious has it's benefits to scholars. His passion for discovery is contagious, and it's hard not to be engaged by anything he discusses, no matter the topic. ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ |
