Wildwood Clan’s own traveling merchant, Changingman plays an integral role in the clan. He makes long ventures out into the World of Sornieth every couple of weeks to help sell the spices, teas, herbs, pelts, and other resources his clanmates produce. While he explores and sells his goods he also collects many of the resources the clan needs that they cannot themselves produce such as fine silks and fabrics, regional specialties, scrolls, and other important items and rare trinkets. His long caravans always have a few of his clanmates volunteering to help out although he is the only one to consistently plan, organize, and lead the journeys. He even sells a few of his mates own poultices and collects rare ingredients for her while he’s out. In the end his hard work helps to generate the bulk of the clan’s funds.

His mate is the mysterious Bogsneak QueenieEye. She doesn’t even bother to hide her witchlike tendencies. The pair work well together. Changingman himself is almost a slave to his own wanderlust. Though he is a very quiet, gentle, and patient dragon he finds that he can’t stay in one place for too long (even his own home). Queenieye doesn’t seem to mind this much being as fiercely private and independent as she is. And so the pair are able to easily tolerate going long times without each others company. Despite this time apart their relationship still works; they genuinely love each other and instinctively understand what their partner needs from them.
