The first member of Hikaru Streams, Zana, is the leader and protector of the clan. She is motherly but in a fierce, strict way, as she cares for and protects the many dragons of Hikaru Streams. Zana prefers to avoid violence and war, and turns to other ways of dealing with matters. However, if you threaten any of the dragons in her clan, watch out! She will do what she has to if peaceful ways don’t work. A master healer, Zana trains the other dragons in the clan who want to heal, so that she can one day step down and give these dragons more responsibility and she can focus on her many other responsibilities.

Although simple and plain colored, she is one of the most beautiful, majestic, and respected dragons of the clan. Zana’s the first to welcome every dragon that comes to join the clan and as leader, gives each dragon their official name. While a dragon may be given a nickname by other dragons of the clan, Zana will always address them by their proper given name and expect all dragons to do the same in her presence.
