Overview
  • Straya is the mage of Dannamore, and she specializes in magical experimentation and basic premonitions of future happenings. When Oblivion needs council, Straya is the one she most commonly seeks out.

  • Straya says very little, mostly humming to herself while she works. When she does speak, it is usually in a soft and wise voice that shows the extent of her knowledge. It is rumored by some passing travelers that she has even seen the comings of her own death.

  • Even though Straya respects Oblivion, she has no moral code tying her to Dannamore, other than the ease of which her studies can be conducted.
History

When Straya was younger, she was always found to be strange. She found immense curiosity in the smallest of things. From the largest plant to the smallest insect. Everything was beautiful. Everything had a purpose. But the purpose she was unsure of was her own. Form a young age she had seen premonitions of a clan brought to the brink of destruction by the power of the plague. She saw dragons being slaughtered left and right. Brother turning on sister. All semblance of order collapsing in on itself as dragon fought dragon in a desperate attempt to survive.

She knew not who these dragons were, nor what their purpose was in the greater scheme of the world, but she knew that she wanted to help them. She needed to help them save themselves from such senseless violence and destruction. From the edges of the Scarred Wasteland, she searched, and just when she was ready to give up, she stumbled across them. The beginnings of a clan who called themselves Dannamore. A clan bent on the preservation of peace and protection of others. This was the clan she needed to save from the horrible destruction they would bring upon themselves.

She did experiment after experiment in hopes that something would change the premonition she came across, but after 2 years, their course did not shift. She admitted defeat and stepped back, no longer having the will to care for dragons who would eventually just meet their demise.

Trivia
  • Her familiar, Kasper, often assists Straya by initiating trades with the other Harpies in order to get the ingredients located within their territories that will assist her in her work.

  • Straya, like Whisper, is very secluded and focuses mostly on her studies.

  • Even though Carneros is mostly just a subject of study for her, she is quite fond of the hatchling's company.
