Dalmis, the Captain of the Drunken Whaler.
Dalmis, the Captain of a crew who threw a mutiny.
Dalmis, the Captain who was captain up until the moment his crew had tied him up in a burlap sack and threw him overboard.

He wasn't a cruel captain, far from it. No, his second mate, paid by the assistant of the lord they had worked for to end him. He had lost Simberuel months ago, and now it was his turn to be taken out apparently.

Maybe it was his fault he had let his crew grow uneasy. He only hoped Simberuel was alright.

The ocean water was cold when he landed in it, struggling in the sack. He was panicking, breath coming in short gasps as water very quickly rushed into the bag, soaking him and chilling him to the bone. He very soon passed out, not noticing the lightened weight of the bag as someone grabbed it...

He soon awoke in a cooled cove, hearing water sloshing near by and the smell of salt. His body was pressed against bluer scales, and he jolted up to stare at the Imperial who was curled around him. She was awake already, staring back at him.

It was then he noticed her odd appearance. She had.. fins, growing from her body, and a pair of working gills on her neck that fluttered from time to time. Was.. was she even an Imperial, or some new species of dragon?

"Hello there." She whispers, her voice almost like a song. Dalmis is almost immediately tranced by her, his eyes dazed and wide.
"H-hello." He mumbles in response. She giggles, the sound like wind chimes as she noses closer to him, peering at him.

"Why were you thrown over board, Captain?"

A sudden cold ran down his spine. He stared at her, stunned. She obviously knew who he was; or at least, what had happened. Had she.. saved him? Blinking, he coughed slightly into his claw.

"I was... overthrown. Because they all were paid by a Coatl who had no respect for those on the seas. I was the captain, and for a mere few coin my own crew, my family, threw me overboard."

Her expression grew sad, then darkened. "How dare they?" She hisses, "To one of their own?" She looks away from him before standing up. Suddenly, a net of fish is thrown in front of him. "Eat." She says, watching him. "You need the energy."

"What's your name?!" He calls to her as she moves to the water by the edge of the cove. She looks back at him with a small grin.

"Shiroisuna."

Dalmis doesn't know where she goes as he eats on the fish. He doesn't know she slips away to the boat. He doesn't know that she attacks it, sinking it and the crew on it. He doesn't know she takes her time drowning his crewmembers, feasting on them and hiding their remains for later consumption.

All he knows is she returns. And she helps him reach land once more, helps him find a new home to stay, a new place to work.
All he knows is he has fallen for her, this crazy siren, and he'd never be happier than the day they became mates.
