Biography

Kürbis means pumpkin in German.
Kürbis is the noble son of dragons who're part beast. They're not like werewolves but like a dragon who's part imp and part fae. It's unknown where his linage first started but it's said it started with dragons more beast then dragon. They started their own clan and other dragons joined them. Other noble dragons came, extending the linage with beastly dragons or others more like the current dragons. Each dragon born from that linage were beastly though what kind of beast differed from dragon to dragon, though siblings tended to share the beast type. These beings are known as Casubri.

Behavior
Casubris have there own unique language. Wildbeasts tend to growl, roar, or hiss to communicate. Wildbirds tend to chirp, screech, or whistle to communicate. Despite difference they are aware of certain things such as a hiss to communicate a warning. They are though aware of body language, something they tend to share, and can use that to fall back on if anything else fails. Most though don't bother to learn common dragon tongue. Though those closer to other clans usually learn a few words or phrases.

Whether meat or plants gathering is held highly by Casubri. Though the young aren't expected to hunt the older can. Disputes between those within clans, if not calmed down, are usually settled by whomever can ether bring back the most or whoever can bring back the biggest bounty. Once finished a feast is heald in honor of the victor. They consider each member valuable and would prefer not to attack physically.

Though some stay to help the clans go at age five some receive The Right of the Wild. It's a very important event in a young Casubri's life where they leave home upon receiving there parent's blessing. These beings travel long and far to find a new home. Royals are expected to ether start there own clan or overthrow another. Those not of royal blood can ether make there own or join another clan. Ether one full of Casubris or dragons. Upon arriving at there destination they're expected to leave and gather food. Not only does this show there strength and determination but also shows just how good they can be as a member of the clan.

When hunting they prefer using fangs and claws. Though they don't have the strongest breath attack they make up for it in there psychical strength. Wildbeasts prefer hunting along the ground while Wildbirds prefer soaring to the sky. How they raise hatchlings also differ with Wildbeasts preferring to take older hatchlings with while Wildbirds preferring to bring it back.

Each Casubri controls a certain area, this includes some within clans. Unless performing the Right of the Wild a stranger Casubri is usually met with hostility, assuming the other is here to overthrow them. Only when they are proven or chased off does the tension die down. If proven they will go out, only coming back when they have a sizable bounty to bring back.

Casubri prefer wearing little to no clothes as they cannot move as silently or efficiently being dragged down by whatever they might wear.

For clans with dragons they provide benefits. There natural beastly abilities make them excellent hunters. They're also determined beings. Willing to go further to hunt down extra food if needed.
Another role they exceed in is guarding. Wildbeasts have excellent hearing while Wildbirds have great eyesight.

Kürbis was laid on a warm evening with siblings. As a noble they're well taken care of and hatched in a warm, comforting area. He hatched second of his siblings but was still treated highly. Kürbis got his name as always liked playing with pumpkins. He was often hyper as a child, running and playing with his siblings much like that of a wolf pup. His siblings often joined in. Occasionally when his father left their lair or to hunt he often followed him, keeping watch excitingly. Eventually he was joined by his other siblings and began hunting. Though he could take down smaller prey himself he could take out prey around his size with his siblings.

Oh his V ((5)) birthday, like all his other siblings he went through the Right of the Wild, getting his parents Blessing before having to leave his clain to to ether start or overthrow a new I. Kürbis Often wandered from place to place, determined to find a new place. The journey was harsh for him , having to trudge through large bodies of water, mud, or other obstacles.

He eventually came upon a cave which held a tinkering snapper whom he took as the clan's leader. Kürbis snuck up and lunged at the dragon, biting him on the ankle. Bruno looked down at the much smaller dragon, trying to get answers from him but only got growls as a response. Shaking him off Bruno questioned the younger dragon but got the same response as before. Annoyed by the response interrupting work he had for clients he trapped the dragon under his tail while he finished work for the day. Kürbis growled and clawed uselessly at the dragon's scales . Once finished Bruno dragged Kürbis out if his cave while he called for other dragons.

Freya was the first to show up. She looked at the smaller dragon and reached a claw towards him. With scales not as hard as Bruno's she began bleeding from the attack. Getting an idea she used her vines to surround him. Thinking she had trapped Kürbis she approached him, only to see the dragon climbing along the thorns, not minding the cuts along the way. She tightened the vines, asking him what he was doing here. Kürbis Snarled as he continued climbing the vines, declaring that he was going to take over the clan.

Bruno frowned, explaining that he wasn't the clan leader and that he seemed to just vanish. In reality only Bruno knew the truth. The leader had locked himself in a cave nearby for he was starting to die. He felt it better with the old leader not acting like he used to and wanted to save him the trouble of a violent death. Kürbis declared that he was now in charge. Though both dragons decided thought he was too young they decided to let him be, to cease him from fighting others, all while keeping an eye on him. They no longer do that due to Kürbis proving himself, if a bit wild, a leader.

The Beastly Leader
Once in charge the first thing Kürbis did was wander around his new clan, scratching at trees and anything else his claws could get through to mark them. Afterwards he roamed around, gathering all of the clan's dragons he saw and gathered them together for a meeting. Though the dragon was young the other dragons knew a meeting wouldn't have been called without a reason.

The dragons gathered, wondering about the news. Kürbis spoke, announcing that he was now the clan leader. Bruno and Freya stood behind him, nodding in assurance. A few murmurs were heard around the crowd. A dragon asked about their former leader began asking about him but Bruno shook his head. Kürbis roared in triumph at his new title and announced he would hold a feast.

As he went to leave for a hunt Bruno tuned to e crowd to answer any questions anyone had. Freya approached Kürbis wanting to help. He explained saying that as the new leader he had to go hunting himself. Before he left Freya explained that various dragons ate different things so he'd have to get a lot of things. Confident Kürbis went off into the nearby woods.

The first thing he found was a small deer. The new king followed it, tracking it. Once he was sure he could take it Kürbis pounced. Though his claws were able to go through he was unable to deal a final blow. Jumping from the deer he watched as it ran off before eventually collapsing from its wounds. Remembering what Freya said Kürbis looked around for some berries and other plants. Finding some he pilled them on top of the deer. Looking around he spotted some other animals and added them to the pile
Eventually Kürbis dragged the animal back to the lair.

Upon seeing what was brought back Bruno and Freya took the food to prepare it while Kürbis talked to his clan. He roared loudly and proudly looking at the clan. As the food was brought back out Kürbis roared again to signal a feast. The dragons enjoyed themselves making a bit of idle chatter. Not unusual for him Kürbis ate much like an animal.
