 Nero seems to be the most cynical such as deadpan dragon in the FrozenRealm, having an even more abrasive, pragmatic, monotone and sarcastic personality than anyone. He generally prefers to be left alone, harboring very few but simple interests like witchcraft and medicine. It's said that he only cares about his mate Minya and his Murktooth Bramblekeep. ~~~~ As Nero saw Beastling freed himself from his cage and fled, the Imperial got quite interested in what he was planning to do next, so he followed him into the darkness of the night. Furthermore there was nothing that bound him to his clan anymore or was there ever such a thing? Walking endlessly, the beast only stops now and then, mostly to eat or just lacerate his prey. As the snow got deeper and colder the closer they went to the south. Beastling finally stopped in his tracks. His eyes focused on a new pray ahead. Searching the environment, Nero saw an Imperial and a Pearlcatcher sitting next to each other. Wondering if he should warn them, he decided to not reveal his location. And with that thought he already saw how the Tundra jumped forward, but in the same moment a deadly aura spread out, seemingly coming from the Imperial. Beastling himself shortly seemed overwhelmed by that threatening feeling Nero received too, but he attacked anyhow. Suddenly he bounced off of a kind of protective shield. A green Nocturne was the first one arriving one on the scene, followed by another and after a few seconds many dragons emerged. They circled him like a wall, but that did not impress the Tundra, as he lunged forward a second time now fighting with a Wildclaw larger than. He kind of hold him back as long as one of the Nocturnes casting a spell. The whole area was bathed in light. As the fog was lifted it reveals a Protobeast in front of everyone. The Nocturne was startled, then looking quite ashamed, as the Pearlcatcher next to the Imperial started to laugh. A frozen Spiral behind him sighed, but appeared to be not mad at him. As the little Protobeast tried to bite again, the Spiral took a bottle to capture it inside, then speaks in a calm voice. "Well, now that this problem is kind of solved for a while ... Elymas you put him in this state, you take care of him." He throw the bottle to him, but the one that caught it was the Pearlcatcher. "A beast does not know that it is a beast, and the nearer another being gets to being a beast, the less it knows it. So it's not at fault.", she stated and turned around, now looking at Nero. As she wanted to say something the Imperial speaks: "Why don't you come out there. The Neighbors of our lair already saw you there.” And so Nero got out of his hiding spot, to tell his and Beastlings story. Weeks later after Beastling got out of his Protobeast state and had changed drastically, he and also Nero were welcomed in the Frozen Realm. Because the Imperial likes it cold and damp outside and most of the time lurking in his cave, he rather stayed there, than wandering back to his old clan. Also his sassy and easily annoyed behavior brought him his first friend: Loki. He takes the role as a doctor in the Realm, often just treats minor injuries.
