______ Because of this Coatl's hate for meat (thus making it unlikely he would eat his prey, leaving more for the Clan), his yellowed colors that allow him to blend with the sunbaked earth, and his uncanny ability to remain silent and still when deep in focus, this Coatl was claw-picked by Agate herself to be the lead Hunter of the clan. Tourmaline takes this job extremely seriously, and will spend long hours out in the wilds, traveling all across the land to collect meat for his clanmates. His only companion is his faithful familiar, a Crystalplate Stinger. Though his job requires a great deal of work, he enjoys it, as he is an adventurous spirit and enjoys getting all sorts of delicacies for the clan, while picking up some great stories about his journeys around the Dragonhome.

______ When he is not on a long hunting trip, Tourmaline generally spends his time relaxing in the clan's home base, getting plenty of rest for his next outing. He takes time to train the other hunters and socializes with the clan, providing interesting tales about the places he has been to. He tends to loosen up a great deal when off work, dropping his serious attitude to being cheerful and well delivered stories to his clanmates.
