Biography
Bilyana is the clan sentinel alongside her mate, Mars. She is a very kind, but calculated dragon.
Bilyana stares at the horizon, her eyes straining at the saltwater continually blowing in her direction.
"There's someone up there," she says.
There's a shuffle behind her when Mars appears, his ill-fitting armor clacking and creaking together.
"I've got some on my side too."
Her heart beat fires.
They've been earning some strange looks from the rooted clans they pass. A mobile clan is...well, it's a strange sight to see. Most dragons move with the help of their patrons, but the Lightweaver probably didn't even know that they were gone yet. And now there was word of an Emperor somewhere in the Flight. She would be distracted for a long time.
"How many?" she says.
Mars grunts. "About two. I think they're Imperials. They look the same."
"Guardian on my end."
She could handle the Guardian based on her sheer size alone. But two Imperials for Mars made her nervous.
"What should we do?" he asks, his own wings spreading and snapping. A display of sorts.
She shakes her head. "We leave them; if they don't do anything, we don't do anything."
And so they stand in silence. Their tails wrapped around each other, praying that this event was merely a staring contest.
Eventually, it was. The Guardian's head disappeared, followed soon after by the Imperials, one of which was the largest she'd ever seen.
"Is Aries back yet?" she whispers, her wings relaxing.
"Should be soon, his boar's getting antsy." Mars says, settling back into his spot on the other side of the cave entrance.
She gazes at him for a moment before sighing. His scales, once so bright and shining, were losing their glare. His face was thinning along with the rest of the clan's. They didn't have much time left.
