Dougal
stranger | seer | self-appointed sage Dougal and his mate Riorden arrived to the clan from parts unknown and with very little warning. It's not entirely unusual for individuals or even small groups to come blundering upon Enid's group out in the wilderness, as they go running to or from something or someone; and there is a certain kind of adventurer who may even seek them out, hoping to benefit from Lionel's teachings. However, rarely does anyone come striding into the very heart of the clan's territory to declare their arrival a fulfillment of prophecy. Dougal is, as he will tell anyone, a seer and a sage. Enough of his minor prophecies have come at least close to true to make the first claim not entirely laughable. No one is sure of his credentials to sagehood. At any rate, he and his mate are now more or less accepted as full members of the clan, just as he had originally predicted they would be. For the moment, his outstanding prophecies mainly concern his visions of strangers who he claims will one day join the clan. So far none of these supposed individuals have revealed themselves.
