xxxxxxMeara once sought out creatures and beastclan individuals who were capable of wielding her precious Lightning element in order to discern any conceivable difference between the electricity they produced and that which dragons such as herself did. It was during her work that she struck up an alliance with a maren with whom she had engaged in combat on a number of occasions (the first time more outright offensively on his part, subsequent times closer to mutual sparring matches). Not having expected to forge a genuine friendship, Meara made it her mission to secure alliances with more of the Maren that called the Kelp Beds home both for sake of her newfound companion and for the mutual benefit of her own clan.

Meara is a sensible but understanding dragon. She's an individual of few words, though the words she does say tend to be important or leave an impact on those to whom she's speaking. She's a taker of initiative and an advocate for cooperation across the clan, something one of its older members, Shine, has come to admire in her. Though she's a quiet dragon, make no mistake of the fact that she's a very hard worker when she puts her mind to it.
