Biography

Redemption

I am not the monster I used to be...I have made peace with my rage.

Formerly Corrupted Saint / Weary Teamaker

He used to be something evil. A living, breathing monster, destroying everything in his path. A creature of rage, of unending bloodlust and pain. No one knew why or how he became like that. What misery and foul play had he drowned in to twist him into such a bitter, jaded thing. Only a few knew that once, he'd been a saint. A dragon of warm, gentle light and a kind heart. That before, he'd been a divine and heavenly creature, a beacon of hope to those that had once gathered at his altar.

How he fell from such grace, well, he's not telling anyone any time soon.

Now, he goes by the name Redemption, often shortened to just Red. He lives quietly amongst the Disgraced, content to live out the rest of his days in a small, but cozy den. His den is near Panorin's, near the shore of Soul's lake. The three occasionally have short conversations while herb gathering, and Redemption has been seen ferrying the crippled spiral around the clan many times. It is unsure how close the imperials are, as neither are commonly seen outside their homes, but it appears obvious that Panorin is extremely intimate with the redeemed saint. On a strictly platonic level, of course.

The imperial can usually be found within his den, drying herbs or casually making tea to bring to his neighboring dragons. While he doesn't leave very often, he always welcomes guests and makes room for them at his table. Even the unexpected guests are welcomed with open arms and a warm - if not weary - smile.

Despite his less than glorious past, Redemption has become sort of...a guide for other dragons. He greets every newcomer to the Disgraced, usually with Arthfael by his side, and makes a point to get to know them and try and help them.

The Divine's have Lucius to go to with their troubles, the Disgraced have Redemption and his bitter tea and warm, thick blankets. It's not uncommon for his den to already have someone there - Panorin especially enjoys napping among the many vases and jars of herbs and flowers. Occasionally, if you stop and listen, you can hear the striped imperial singing softly to himself and his guests.

Exalting Redemption to the service of the Plaguebringer will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
