Aura loved him. She believed that he loved her back dearly, but when Cataegis never returned from his last adventure, she wasn't sure anymore.
It started out as foggy dreams. Nothing that scared her, but it didn't mean anything. Then she had visions even during the day - Cataegis was leaving her. It must be a joke , she thought. Cataegis was a loyal mate.
It wasn't till the visions soon turn to tormenting headaches, warnings that she ignored, that she realised she was standing by the door, watching the silhouette of her mate fade into the mountains. Cataegis was leaving.
Will he come back?
She already knew the answer.
With each passing moon, she waited and waited, but there was no sign or word of Cataegis. In despair, she leaves her home in search of him to no avail. The visions became more vivid, showing her more of what has yet to come and none were of her beloved. And that's when she finally succumbed, broken-hearted and frustrated, Aura decided to lock herself away.
The others didn't need to know her past. They didn't have to know the future. The gift was a tormentor anyways. perhaps, it was best that no one knew.
Aura clawed at her head and cowered at times she felt a vision coming, afraid of what she might see. And the only true pain was that it never stopped!
It keeps coming and coming! Again and again and again!
Then, everything stops as she looks up from the floor. The still Nocturne slowly pulls a feral grin as she watches the dust particles float from the ray of light that leaked into her dark room.
"I see... EVERYTHING!"
Aura as a Gijinka
Aura is roughly 27 human years with white wavy short hair and bright green eyes. Her eyes are often blown wide as if in shock due to - well, shock most of the time. Her smile is twisted and sharp for she has already lost her mind to the spiritual world :c
