IMPORTANT NOTICE:
In my clan, this dragon fills the role of being basically a cop / guard, being the one in charge of apprehending wrong-doers and criminals. Alas, with the current state of the police force worldwide, I feel a moral obligation to say that I fully support the Black Lives Matter movement and the anti-cop movement.
I lived most of my life in a third world country and can say that All Cops are ******** in Brazil too.
While I do enjoy Helvandr's lore as a town guard and playing around with what for a story, I feel it is necessary to leave this important notice and reminder here that while Flight Rising is a place of refuge and escapism from reality, my skin colour in real life offers me no choice but to stand with BLM and promote ACAB.
Law enforcement is an extremely important part of society and to see it corrupted by racism, greed and politics is a disgrace. Justice should be blind, and in my country as well as in many others, it currently isn't.
Until we see some change in how government deals with police brutality and corruption, my characters whose lore are related to guarding will remain with BLM | ACAB on their broadcast. If you have a problem with that, feel free to find other clans or lores to read about.

Some of Hel's town guard, although they really don't like their job, and hardly ever arrest anyone (and, in fact, are more likely to let people slide on the charges... If they see people stealing food, no they didn't)
Some people joke that Jarko and Nora are a hive mind. They're simply so close and intimate they rarely need words to communicate.
Nora is more motherly, and likes keeping in touch with all of her children. She's a great cook and every sunday she'll make an obscene amount of food and keep her backyard open for anyone who wants to come and have some roast (just bring your booze!). A lot of the pirates show up at Nora's sunday roast because they want to grow friends with her to save face if they ever need. Nora is aware of their manipulating goals, but it's not like she cares enough about her job to stop them lmao
