Insect Catcher
Lucifer is the lair's official insect catcher, trapping enough insects in a day to keep the stocks up. He started doing it for himself and Morningstar when he first joined the clan, but caught enough that he shared with the other dragons of the same diet until he was catching insects for everyone. Head over heels in love with Morningstar, and he is very easy to startle. When he is startled, because he is a spiral, his reactions are usually so exaggerated and involve such wild pinwheeling and flailing of extremities that he is sometimes a danger to the dragons nearest to him, but is also hilarious to watch. What makes him startle so easily is a mystery, even to himself. He can often be found muttering to himself about his past, thinking of all the possibilities, in the surprisingly dramatic events of his clutchhood, that might have startle so easily, but he has yet to pinpoint a single event when things turned so... tiresomely amusing. He suffers through clanmates jumping out at him, leaving harmless spring-loaded pranks for him to find, and many other attempts to startle him daily. He doesn't complain, though, doesn't even mind it all that much, except when it disturbs his much-needed hourly naps throughout the day. His beloved Morningstar always laughs the loudest and that makes it all worth it.
