Once a normal dragon, with goals and dreams and hopes and a will of his own, this Imperial is now a thrall to the powerful necromancer Reve. Named Satanael by his new master, the Construct is an abomination of a creature filled and fuelled by deeply rooted malice. It does not require Reve's presence in order to move, nor does it need an order from the Skydancer or his mate to take action. It cannot, however, disobey an order given to it by Reve or by Lani, making it a slave to their whims.

Whether or not the Construct has ill-will towards its masters does not matter, for it cannot harm them as long as they do not command it to. The Construct does certainly seem to have desires of its own, though none of them are friendly desires and many seem to be the remnants of lingering feelings of malice, hatred or betrayal from when Satanael was an individual with a life of his own making.

There was once an Imperial dragon that was living a happy life. He was courting a rather enchanting female Imperial of purple and gold and was planning for the future. He saw many things in his future; hatchlings that he had sired, stories by the fireplace, camping trips into other lands, fun magic lessons and the practising of new spells. He never could have seen what lay in store for him in reality, and never could have predicted that the Imperial he was growing to love so much would betray him for her own reasons, rather than trust in him.

The Construct, Satanael, has lost any concept of socialisation or emotion. There is a question as to whether the creature is even "alive" by modern definitions; it doesn't visibly seem to breathe although it can clearly make use of lungs and vocal chords to make various sounds. It also doesn't seem to sleep, ever, and hasn't ever been witnessed eating or drinking. Yet, if you cut it, it bleeds, suggesting a beating heart somewhere within.

Whatever sense of self the Construct does have, it seems to be incredibly angry with almost every one and every thing. Fuelled by the rage of a betrayal that cut it deep and lead it to where it now is in life, the Construct is a hostile entity and best avoided at all costs. It follows the orders of Reve and his mate Lani to the letter, and it is a large possibility that their instruction is the only thing keeping the Construct from rampaging throughout the lair.
