Biography

Mesa: The Stone Maiden Herself
Mesa is the founder and owner of The Stone Maiden Inn. She is very sweet and welcoming, but has no qualms in giving unruly and vulgar guests the boot. Alongside her mate Aspen and her children, she's provided shelter to lost dragons and visitors here for decades. The inn is one of the oldest buildings in Reedwhistle, so it holds a lot of sentimental weight for those who have lived here and those who have visited in years past. Before settling down, Mesa was a young woman traveling with a trade caravan. They would often take on hitchhikers and travelers with their group for the sake of safety in numbers. Mesa can distinctly recall that far too many stretches of their journey would lack hospitable housing, and that those traveling with them considered sleeping near to their cart better than nothing. It wasn't long after that she decided to, on one of these stops, depart from her caravan and start an inn right then and there in the small river valley... |
