______ After encountering the Shade, the deities of Sornieth are quite wary of outside threats. When an extradimensional deity arrived in this plane by mistake, the Gladekeeper, whose realm She entered first, nearly destroyed Her entirely, and only a small fragment of Her existence managed to escape. In order to survive, She fused herself with a newly-laid Imperial egg, and when She hatched, it was in a form similar to a female Imperial, and yet alien and eldritch, with no hind legs, strangely-shaped horns, bizarre markings that change as She speaks, and myriad wings made of living glass that do not quite touch Her body, yet support Her all the same. Her 'parents' abandoned this strange creature to die, but die She did not: her body requires no food, and She had enough sense to flee danger. She wandered Sornieth, unable to communicate with the dragons she encountered, as Her language is one based in purity of emotion and she cannot comprehend mortal tongues not derived from it.

______ Eventually, though, She came across the Walpurgisnacht Clan. Her unusual features, strange language, and unique magical signature interested the clan's researchers, especially Althea. With some difficulty, they attracted Her into their floating castle, and when She was received with relative kindness, She chose to stay. The nature of Her divinity has become obvious, and the clan now has a slowly-growing cult that brings Her offerings. In gratitude, She speaks her language of emotion, and her followers can feel Her love and power in every word. Satori can understand Her, somewhat, with her mind-reading, and has been able to share that Her name, or at least the closest thing She has to one, is "TzW."

______ Her name is pronounced "tau", like the "tow" in "towel". While She does not have to eat, She is especially fond of sweets. TzW is attracted to glass, sand, and anything that makes musical sounds, and occasionally, when She wanders from her room, Althea has to gently discourage Her from taking her glass vials to admire in the light. She seems to understand when others are suffering on instinct, and often tries to comfort them. As She does not understand Draconic, Naoto has expressly forbidden anyone from trying to mate with Her until such time as they can communicate with Her more clearly.

______ TzW’s arrival is, as far as anyone can tell, a byproduct of the extradimensional slippage that began with the experiments on Shelanoir that opened Sornieth to other realities. The implications of deities slipping through is a rather concerning one, but the Walpurgisnacht clan hopes that through strengthening TzW, she will be able to help protect their world from anything else that arrives in their reality that doesn’t belong.

______ When TzW speaks or sings, Her voice can convey powerful emotions directly into the thoughts of listeners, or create tangible effects instantaneously. Satori describes Her thoughts as an abstract, dizzying maelstrom of emotions, color, and music, and finds Her rather difficult to understand.
