Alchemical Spill - Lightning Subspecies

Deep in the intensive laboratories of the Stormcatcher, one poor intern made a mistake, which happened to be “accidentally whacking the very important table over.” The resulting explosion of chemicals and latent electrical energy forever stained -- and changed -- the rest of the interns in the lab room. They were temporarily vaulted away for subsequent testing. None seemed too radically different, save for their rather rambunctious complaining and vibrant coloration... until the altered interns were allowed back into the chemistry laboratory to continue their research.

Easily excited by otherwise-normal phenomenon (and more interested in research than personal space), the Alchemical Spills soon outpaced their research and began mixing chemicals with more and more fervor, leading to the discovery of their seemingly-chemical-immune scales. However, while their chemistry work was dangerous, it was also brilliant; as such, the dragons were sequestered into their own lab room and given free reign.
The Alchemical Spills finally broke free of their singular chemistry lab after another of their (quite regular) mishaps, and spread into the world… presumably to keep doing their research and to wreak havoc with their chemistry.

Alchemical Spills work best in the lab, whether that be as a chemist, an alchemist, or the less-common chemical engineer. They take great joy in mixing things together (most that shouldn’t be mixed) and melting things down. Making elements and compounds shift states of matter is also quite fascinating.

Because of their complete disregard for lab safety and personal safety, these dragons don’t often get any field experience in the Coliseum. Besides, they spend every waking hour of their day in the laboratory, and every sleeping hour of their day… drinking caffeine instead of actually sleeping.

Spills typically wear only what they can make. Their social skills are usually swallowed by test tubes, however, the Alchemical Spills do have an uncanny bond with the different types of residue.

Exalting Iridexa to the service of the Earthshaker will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
