RTfmQ2n.png Toby is a young dragon, and is a foundling, his egg having been discovered out in the grasses of the valley surrounding the Keep entrance. Sev and Nyx couldn't smell even the faintest hint of a parent or caretaker, and moved quickly to bring the egg back to Kelpie to try and rescue it. For though Ice eggs can last in the cold far longer than any other, they also run the risk of building up layers of non-magical ice, which can suffocate a hatchling when the nest-formed shell cracks.

They were successful, and once it had incubated as much as it needed, out popped Toby, the first mirror to be seen in the Keep in many a year. He was raised alongside Ambrosia- though she ceased to grow- and is now a mage in the keeper bevy. Something about his extra exposure to the cold when he was still within his egg has made him more sensitive to it.
